Vinny Dingle has faced more cruel taunting from Tom King in Emmerdale.

Last week, Tom brutally attacked Vinny from behind in his work trailer as revenge for spending time with Belle King — and has since taunted Vinny for being a virgin. Belle had confided in Tom about Vinny’s sexual history, but was horrified when her husband almost immediately brought it up in front of Vinny.

Tuesday’s (April 23) episode saw Vinny feeling hurt that Belle had betrayed his confidence even though she’d promised to keep his secret to herself. Tom tried to turn things around, telling Belle that a friend should never ask her to keep secrets from their spouse.

When Belle asked for updates on the recent break-in at their home, Tom stalled her by saying there wouldn’t be news from police anytime soon.

Viewers know that Tom never actually called the police since he was the one who staged the home invasion, to make Belle feel guilty about being out with friends. Tom also manipulated Belle into keeping their doggie camera on at all times, with his wife having no idea that he was spying on her whenever she was home alone.

At the pub, Vinny happened to walk in while Tom and Belle were having lunch. Belle invited Vinny to join them, much to Tom’s annoyance. Tom went off to buy Vinny a drink while Belle profusely apologised to him for betraying his trust.

“I’ve let you down and I’m sorry,” she told him.

Tom wasn’t about to let the two friends make up, so he continued to taunt Vinny by bringing him a virgin daiquiri.

“I’m sorry, mate. I didn’t mean it [like that],” Tom snickered. “I just didn’t want you mixing alcohol and meds.”

How far will Tom go to drive away Vinny?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
