Hollyoaks will reveal a major secret from Lizzie Chen-Williams’s past.
This major revelation will take place in the run-up to her father Dave Chen-Williams marrying his partner Cindy Cunningham.
In scenes that will air next week, Cindy confesses to Lizzie that she is having second thoughts about getting married again after her late husband Luke’s death.
The bride-to-be gets an ominous sign when she accidentally spills wine on her wedding gown. Nevertheless, Cindy will push ahead with her plans for the wedding.
Later, Lizzie has a vulnerable moment of her own as she confides in Cindy that she made a big mistake as a teenager. What is she referring to?
It has already been reported that Cindy and Dave will not have a happy wedding day, with tragedy striking as Dave collapses.
Lily Best has also hinted that her character Lizzie could soon be leaving Chester as part of the Hollyoaks cast cuts coming later in the year.
In a recent Instagram Story, Lily shared three pairs of eye emojis when asked by a fan if her character Lizzie would survive the cast cull.
Unfortunately, Steph Waring has confirmed that the Hollyoaks producers have chosen to write out her character Cindy as part of these cuts, while Theo Graham’s character Hunter McQueen is expected to face a deadly exit as well.
Producers have announced plans for a time jump in the autumn to explain these cast departures, as the soap moves forward a full year.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
