The road to their wedding ceremony hasn’t run smooth and even on the day, there’s plenty of drama.
But Eden, 26, has revealed there was real-life heartache behind-the-scenes following the death of co-star Steve Halliwell, who played her on-screen dad, Zak Dingle.
Steve passed away in December aged 77 and his funeral took place last month.
Eden revealed the wedding scenes were filmed the day after the funeral, saying during a press event: “We had the funeral yesterday and all the Dingles went, it was beautiful.

The couple also clash over Belle’s initial refusal to take Tom’s surname, not surprising considering the history between the Dingles and the Kings over the years in Emmerdale.
Eden joked she was “fuming” about her character relenting and agreeing to take her husband’s name before adding: “It’s exciting to be a King. I don’t think Nicola will be happy about it.”
She continued: “The Dingles are the best family and I think Belle wanted to be a Dingle through and through.
“But she’s been pushed into becoming a King. But when I read in the script that I would be a King, I was very sad – especially after 18 years.”
However, viewers suspect all will not be well in the marriage considering Tom has shown worrying behaviour towards Belle in recent months.
During Super Soap Week, he lashed out at Belle, which led to her cutting her stumbling and cutting her head on the coffee table.
On what’s ahead for the newlyweds, Eden said: “On paper, it’s heaven.
“But there have been a few little things that Belle hasn’t seen because she’s just so blinded by love, the dream wedding and by her dream man.”
