Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Chloe Harris has tried to help Mackenzie Boyd escape her father in Emmerdale.
Earlier in the month, it was revealed that the villain who viewers previously knew as Harry was actually Chloe’s long-lost father Damon Harris scoping out the village in disguise all this time.
There have been many references to Damon being a very dangerous man through Chloe’s time in the soap, though it was thought that he was locked away in prison.

Damon has had his criminal goons take Mackenzie hostage to force him to sign away custody of Chloe’s son Reuben, with Chloe led to believe Mack will simply be let go once he signs.
“My plan is to do what’s best for you and Reuben,” Damon insisted. “We get him to sign, you go live your life. Leave me to worry about Mackenzie.”
When Chloe went to see a beaten and bruised Mackenzie, she warned him he had no choice but to comply with her father’s demands.
“Live or die, Mackenzie. Either way, you’re not going to see Reuben again,” Chloe warned.

However, once her father was out of earshot, Chloe desperately tried to free Mack so his blood wasn’t on her hands. She insisted it didn’t mean that she still has feelings for him – her father had just gone too far.
“I still hate you, I just don’t want to be part of a murder – even yours,” Chloe explained.
Chloe kept her father distracted long enough for Mack to do a runner, though Damon caught up with the hostage before he could escape the property.
“I find it a little insulting that you thought we wouldn’t be watching,” Damon quipped. “Still, you got a bit of fresh air, right?”
Will Mack survive?
